Mangaluru: After the city police detained few BJP protesters from the “Mangaluru Chalo” rally and locked them in Kadri Gokarnatha Hall without releasing them for hours, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel who received this information rushed to the spot, vented out his anger on Police Inspector Maruthi Nayak of Kadri Station. He demanded the release of the activists and threatened to call for a bandh if cases were registered against BJP work.
In a video which went viral on social media, MP Nalin Kumar Kateel who lost his temper threatened the police inspector demanding the release of party workers within half an hour.
Reportedly, BJP leader Pooja Pai along with other workers were locked in Kadri Gokarnatha Hall and the police were about to register cases against them.
