Mangaluru: P I Srividya, Dakshina Kannada Zilla Panchayath CEO has been transferred to Bengaluru’s Infrasturcture Development Department.
Srividya hails from Kottarakkara in Kerala and had secured 14th rank in the IAS examinations in 2009. She had earlier served as the CEO of Kodagu ZP. Soon after receiving transfer orders she handed over charge to K G Jagadeesh.
K G Jagadeesh, Deputy Commissioner will be in-charge of Dakshina Kannada Zilla panchayath till the alternative arrangements are made.
She was the Chief Guest during Newskarnataka’s ‘Life on Street‘ contest valedictory function, where she had honoured street warriors Joe Gonsalves, a 95-year-old traffic warden from Mangaluru and Charmadi Hasanabba, who is popularly known as the ‘one-man ambulance’.
