Mangaluru: Officials at Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport detained a person as he landed here acting on a lookout notice issued by Mangaluru North police.
The detained person identified as Darvez Mohidin (27) has now been taken into custody by the Mangaluru North police.
It is gathered that Darvez along with another person named Kalandar Shafi both of who are staying abroad had posted derogatory comments on Goddess Sita, who is revered among the Hindus through a fake Facebook profile created by them. A complaint in this regard had been lodged at Mangaluru North police station.
After investigations the police had identified the two behind the act and had issued a lookout notice against them.
The other accused was apprehended in October last year when he arrived at Mangaluru International Airport.
