Mangaluru: District-in-charge minister Kota Srinivas Poojary held a meeting with MESCOM officials at the office of the DC here on June 6 and advised the Mescom officials to respond quickly to the issue of a quantum jump in the value of Electricity bills irking the public. “Besides the bill value for the months of March and April citizens are also complaining about the high unit rates”, he said.
“Mescom officials should conduct a meeting with the public and hear their woes. They should also respond to the public through social media and helplines. In addition, Mescom should also allow the public to pay their bills in installments,” he said.
