Mangaluru: The members of Dakshina Kannada District Congress Women’s wing offered candlelight condolences to the victims of Sri Lanka bomb blast, in front of District Congress Office on Saturday, April 27.
The members were seen holding placards which read ‘Terrorism is an enemy of humanity`, ‘Give protection to women’, ‘Justice for women’, ‘Prayer vigil for peace in Sri Lanka’, ‘Pray for Sri Lanka, ‘Justice for Madhu’, ‘Terrorism has no nationality or religion’ among others.
Addressing the gathering, Shalet Pinto, District President of Women’s Congress, who led the programme informed that everyone should come forward to fight against the terrorism activities. She offered condolences to the souls of victims killed in the attack.
