Mangaluru: “District BJP will conduct ‘Seva Hi Sanghatan’ to mark seven years of Narendra Modi government,” said former MLC and chief spokesperson of state BJP Capt Ganesh Karnik.
Addressing media persons here on Saturday, May 29, he said, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has completed in office for seven years. After 31 years, Modi was elected with a sweeping majority for a national party in 2014.”
“People expected a change after the previous government’s corruption, frauds, inflation, border issues, terrorism, and other challenges. Several developments occurred during Modi’s reign, including demonetization to combat corruption, the GST, and new educational policies, and the administration worked to meet the public’s expectations, giving the country a new direction,” he said.
“Meanwhile, Modi has faced challenges such as the pandemic, Kashmir conflict, Pulwama incident, floods, and cyclones, and he has dealt with them all effectively” he added.
“To mark the seven years of Modi government, we will conduct ‘Seva Hi Sanghatan’ at all booths in a simple manner by distributing ration kits, masks, and arranging ambulance service for the needy,” he said.
