DK COVID-19 toll 20; elderly woman tests positive for corona after death

Sullia: An elderly woman admitted to a Hospital in Mangaluru, has died. She was a resident of Keremoole of Sullia Taluk. She has admitted for an unspecified illness in the hospital in Mangaluru and sources say she died of a heart attack but tested positive subsequently. The deaths in DK now number 20.

She was in the ICU of the Taluk Government hospital a week back and her co patient was an elderly man. He was tested +ve for Corona Virus and was in the same ICU.

Apparently, following this development, the employees of the hospital were tested and one tested positive, a nurse. The Nurse was treating the lady too.

It is learned that her last rites will be held in Mangaluru.
