Mangaluru: The Dakshina Kannada district recorded 77.25 voting percentage at end of Mangaluru Lok Sabha polling on Thursday, April 18.
According to the statistics on polling percentage released by the Dakshina Kannada district Deputy Commissioner and Returning Officer Sasikanth Senthil. Sullia bagged the first place in voting percentage as it recorded 84.10 percent and Mangaluru South constituency is in the last place as it recorded only 69.15 percent of votes.
Beltangady Taluk is in the second place, which has recorded 80.92 percent. While Puttur taluk is in the third place by securing 80.71 polling percentage, Bantwal taluk is in fourth place as it recorded 80. 31 percent. By securing 75.62 percent voting turn-out, Mangaluru constituency stood at fifth place. The sixth and seventh places go to Mangaluru North and Moodbidri constituencies with them securing 74.83 percent and 73.17 percent respectively.
