Mangaluru: After a landslide victory in RR Nagar and Sira bypolls, alongside the Bihar verdict, Karnataka BJP President Nalin Kumar Kateel has questioned former chief minister Siddaramaiah if he still has a ‘nest’.
“Siddaramaiah has always questioned the ‘Modi Wave’. Now after BJP’s victories, voters are asking Siddaramaiah if he has a nest after being driven out of his home turf Varuna. You have been kept out of Sira and RR Nagar and soon you will be out of Badami too,” said Kateel.
Confident of remaining in power for next ten years, Kateel said that the Congress must accept the truth and focus on performing well as the opposition party.
“Siddaramaiah must stop day dreaming and give up hopes of becoming the CM again. Step dowm from this ‘self-proclaimed’ supreme leader status and function as opposition party,” he said adding that the Congress leaders must mind their words henceforth at least because through the Sira and RR Nagar verdict, the voters have given an important message loud and clear.
“The voters have asked the Congress to remain silent,” he said confirming that there is no threat to CM BSY government at the state for next two years.
