Mangaluru: Traffic in the city was at a standstill for over an hour and a half, after a drunken driver drove his lorry over a divider near the AJ Hospital area here on January 29.
It has been reported that the lorry was moving in the opposite direction and then went on a divider following which, it hit an electric pole, knocking it down.
The lorry was heading towards Kottara Chowki from KPT on NH 66.
Traffic police rushed to the spot and cleared the road.
