Mangaluru: Embracing Self is a wonderful idea than running in search of friendship in others, said JC Pravalika. She was responding to the session conducted at JCI Spoorthi, Mangalore at Hotel Ocean Pearl about Effective Communication Skills. The session was conducted by NV Paulose, Director, News Karnataka and Chairman, Global TV. Dr. Ragavendra Holla, Master Trainer was the Guest of Honour. Prof. Devi Prabha shared her experience in participating in a training program and subsequently conducting a program for MSW Students. Being a Teacher, I find joy in learning and every learning experience is a bonus that reflects in the life of a teacher, Dr. Devi Prabha said.

In the session, NV Paulose emphasized the need for self-awareness and self-respect. Each person should discover herself or himself. Everyone has an outer mind and a deeper mind. While the outer mind has limited capacity and all kinds of difficulties, it is our deeper mind that takes care of us including the functioning of our own body. The deeper mind which different people call in different names like the subconscious mind or unconscious mind etc. is very important. Many people do not even know there is something like a deeper mind. In the process, people damage the dignity and integrity of their own deeper mind.
The deeper mind always protects us when we are connected or otherwise. But when we continue to do in wrong directions, the deeper mind starts to trouble us. The deeper mind does this to bring us back to the right track. Many people realize the presence and come back and get connected with their deeper minds. People use different methods for this purpose. All methods lead people to get connected with their own inner self. A person connected with own deeper mind always performs exceptionally well because the power of the deeper mind is unlimited.
