Mangaluru: In order to assess the feedback from the citizens, the Government of India’s (GOI’s) Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs has asked the public to participate in a survey by answering around 22 questions on the ease of living in their cities.
This Citizens’ Perception Survey “Ease of Living Index – 2019” is being undertaken through the link http://eol2019.org/CitizenFeedback. Here, people will find questions like, to what extent do you agree/disagree that good quality education for children is affordable in your city? to what extent do you agree that rental/housing is affordable in your city? how satisfied are you with the extent of green cover in your city? among others.
Asking people to participate in the survey in large numbers, Managing Director of the Mangaluru Smart City Pvt Ltd Mohammed Nazeer said that people can also give their opinion through @SmartCitiesMission (Facebook) and @easeofliving2019. The government will receive the opinion of the public for the selected 22 queries, from February 1 to 29 and it will help smart city Mangaluru to obtain more benefits from the public.
