Mangaluru: In order to facilitate Eid Milad celebrations at Eidgah Masjid in Bavutagudda, the police department has decided to ban traffic movement temporarily through the area on Tuesday, November 20 from 4 PM until the completion of prayer.
Mangaluru Commissioner of Police T R Suresh, in a press release, informed that as a mass prayer would be held as a part of Eid Milad on Tuesday evening, the vehicular movement through Bavutagudda has been banned temporarily from 4 PM til the completion of prayers. Those who ply through Bavutagudda, should opt for either K S Rao Road or Falnir Road, said the communique.
The press release also said that the parking of vehicles will be allowed only on the left side of the road between Central Library and Vijaya Bank during the mass prayer.
