Kasargod: The endosulphan victims have planned to hold indefinite strike in front of the Secretariat in Tiruvanathapuram from March 15 for their demands to be met.
Hence, as a prelude to the indefinite strike they will hold a one day strike on January 30 in front of the Secretariat.
The protesters said that the Endosulphan Committee had decided to hold intense protests in the coming days. Still, if the government does not respond before March 31, they will hold hunger strike.
They announced that the victims and their family members will take part in the strike.
The endosulphan victims allege that state government had completely neglected them and even the names of few victims had been dropped from the list. The endosulphan company has lobbied with the government, they alleged.
