Mangaluru: A 27-year-old man engaged in door-to-door fish vending business has been tested positive for COVID-19.
According to the sources, this fish vendor is from Yekkur and he has been engaged in fish vending business over the last few months. He used to purchase fish from the old port area and sell it in the city.
As he was tested positive for COVID-19 yesterday, measures have been taken to identify his contacts.
Meanwhile, a pregnant woman, who was also tested positive for the infection, delivered a healthy baby on Tuesday morning, June 23.
Both mother and child are healthy, sources from the health department informed.
