Mangaluru: In connection with conspiracy to murder and disturb violence, Surathkal Police has arrested five persons.
The Five arrested that include rowdy sheeter Pinki Nawaz were conspiring to kill witness in Deepak Rao murder case, and also a local corporator.
The conspiracy was hatched on a WhatsApp group called Lokhandwala. And the conspiracy was out when an audio clip from the same group got leaked.
It can be recalled here that recently a bus stop in Surathkal was named after late Deepak Rao, and was inaugurated by Mangaluru North MLA Bharath Shetty. A certain faction did not approve of the fact that the bus stop was named after Deepak Rao. However, it is shocking that this disgruntlement has led to plotting of a murder
