Mangaluru: Former Kudligi DySP Anupama Shenoy, who quit her post over differences with the then district in-charge minister PT Parameshwar Naik has expressed her willingness to rejoin the police force.
Delivering her address on the theme ‘Hyderabad ,freedom and confrontation’ as chief guest in a Yuva Brigade organized program at TV Ramana Pai convention centre on September 17, the former DySP confirmed that she has written a letter to the chief minister in this regard on August 29 and was looking forward to the response from the government. She clarified that she was awaiting the decision from the state government which took only 5 days to accept her resignation.
In her address, she confirmed that she was not against the political establishment, but only against unjust political decisions and has sought withdrawal of resignation on technical grounds. She confirmed that she has received an acknowledgement for her letter from the government.
She also said, lot of people expressed their displeasure over her move to resign and offered their support whenever they met her after she quit her post. Shenoy, known to change her statements frequently, did not completely rule out her entry into politics.
