Mangaluru: Girls’ Islamic Organisation of Dakshina Kannada organised a press meet here on Monday October 11 to discuss the loopholes in the “Arivu Loan Yojana” provided by Karnataka Minority Development Corporation (KMDC). Further, they have demanded to extend the benefit of the scheme to the students who are pursuing education under the management quota.
At the media conference, they have also urged the Government to continue the scheme like before and allow them to file the application personally. “The government has to sanction the loans immediately to the students to pursue their higher studies.
They also urged the Government to reduce the bus fare for the students to one Rupee, or free travelling facility for the students in Government buses.
