Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada district in-charge Minister U T Khader informed that as `Miladullabi` celebration will be held on Tuesday, November 20, government holiday will be declared on the same day.
Khader informed to the media that though government holiday was fixed on November 21 for Eid Milad, the celebration in Dakshina Kannada district will be held on November 20th only. Hence, a memorandum has been submitted to Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy to declare government holiday to Dakshina Kannada district on Tuesday, November 20. Followed by the request, the Chief Minister directed the chief secretary of government to take immediate measures in this regard. The official announcement will be made on Monday, he informed.
