Grand opening of wet-waste processing unit of Yenepoya University to be held on Oct 2

Mangaluru: The grand opening of the 10 TPD (10 tonnes per day) wet-waste processing unit of Yenepoya University under the title Urvvi will be held on Saturday October 2.

Through this passion project, Urvvi hopes to bring harmony within the ecosystem by practising composting and recycling. The project mentor for the facility is Jeeth Milan Roche from Give Green Solution.

The programme will be held at Malekedu, Harekala village, Elayarpadavu at 9.30 am.

The Chief guest for the event is Akshy Shridhar IAS, Commissioner Mangaluru City Corporation. Guests of Honours include Manohar, Commissioner Puttur CMC, Shabarinath Rai, Zonal Commissioner and Executive Engineer (Environment), Badruddin, President Harekala Gram Panchayat and Pratibha Kudthadka, Panchayat Development Officer Harekala Gram Panchayat.
