Mangaluru: To enjoy the scenic aerial beauty of the City, GSB GPL Festival 2022 will introduce a helicopter ride for people this time. GPL Festival is set to be held on February 25, 26, and 27.
In recent days, this unique trend of helicopter rides has been seen all over. It has, however, just begun in Mangaluru. During a helicopter journey, passengers can observe rivers, the sea, greenery, City landmarks and huge buildings. To make this experience memorable they have allowed to undertake photography free of cost. Anyone can take unlimited selfies during the helicopter ride.
Content Head of Youth of GSB Kiran Shenoy said “GPL has been happening from past 6 years. Every year we have done something unique for our community people. Every year, we have introduced something special to leave our community people happy and excited. We started with cricket, followed by events for children, women, and everyone. We started boating and a kids’ zone two years ago. We wanted to do something different this year, and we thought a helicopter ride would be a great way to do so in Mangaluru. It is a ten-minute ride.”
On February 25, there is a special offer: the cost of the ride will be Rs. 3,500, but the cost on the other two days will be Rs. 4000. People can make payment through G-pay and PhonePay.
One has to book their slots on kodialsports.com/helicopterride. “You will find all of the required questions there, which you must fill in before receiving a payment confirmation email. We have given time slots in the website and people must come at the right time. We have given a contract to an agency which has relevant experience in the field. The helipad will be in the Sahyadri Grounds and landing and take-off will happen from there. Precautions and directions will be given by the piolet to the riders,” he added.
