Mangaluru: Slamming MP Shobha Karandlaje for her remarks that Chief Minister Siddaramaiah could go to Minister U T Khader’s residence for a party but had no time to visit slain BJP activist Santhosh’s residence in Bengaluru, Khader has questioned, “Despite several soldiers having been killed by Pakistan, how many residences of the bereaved family has Prime Minister Narendra Modi visited till now?”

Addressing a press meet at Circuit House on February 2, State Food and Civil Supplies Minister Khader said, “BJP claims that 24 of their activists were killed by anti-social elements. Did BJP President Amit Shah visit residences of these slain BJP activists?”, he ridiculed.

“Modi visited ‘anti-national’ Nawaz Sharif’s (former Pakistan PM) residence and had tea with him. Congress never did this with Pakisthan. Though several soldiers sacrificed their life for the country he has failed to visit their residence”, he said.

He also questioned whether the PM who is visiting Bengaluru soon, would go to the slain BJP activists’ residences, adding that BJP should never politicise the murders.

It may be recalled that a 28-year-old worker of Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Santhosh was stabbed to death by four assailants at Chinnappa Garden in J C Nagar Police limits on January 31st night.
