Mangaluru: According to the sources, in the last two weeks, 627 students have tested positive for Covid-19. The rise in Covid cases among college students has alarmed officials, leading the Health Department to see whether colleges are following Covid protocols.
Colleges that are found to be breaking the rules will receive notices.
327 students from Kerala and 77 students from a private college in Sullia were among those who tested positive. Meanwhile, the task of tracing the infected students’ primary and secondary contacts is underway.
