Mangaluru: A day after Gurpur Vajradehi Matt Seer Sri Rajashekharananda Swamiji stated that he was aware of an important lead in the murder case of RSS activist Sharath Madivala and would reveal if National Investigation Agency took up the probe, State Minister for Food and Civil Supplies U T Khader warned that hiding the facts in a criminal case is also an offence according to IPC.
He appealed that those who had the lead clues in the murder of Sharath must share them with the police and cooperate in nabbing the culprits.
“What does he mean by saying he has no faith in state police? Don’t we need state police henceforth? If the police don’t act after providing them evidence, than it is rightful to criticise but without producing any clues terming that one had no faith is not right”, Khader said.
On his visit to the hospital, Khader said that he had visited Sharath in the hospital, out of brotherhood and humanitarian concern and so was the case with regard to Ashraf Kalai too.
On delay in announcement of Sharath’s death, Khader said that the district administration and hospital should disclose that first. “Those who wish for peace should co-operate with police. Along with the assailants, even the conspirators should be punished,” he added.
On BJP leader’s statement that a common BJP party worker will contest and win the elections against Ramanatha Rai, Khader ridiculed that the BJP leaders were aware that they would not secure as much votes as a common party worker would.
