Mangaluru: Joyce D’Souza (54), a high school teacher at St. Theresa’s School, died here on April 11 at 8.15 pm after a long battle with cancer. Her funeral will be held on April 13 at Church of St. Joseph the Worker, Neermaarga at 3 pm. The funeral cortege will leave the house in Merlapadav, at 2.45 pm.
Joyce, daughter of Augustine Frank and late Dulcine Frank, is survived by her husband, Oswald D’Souza and her children Namita/Raghavendra, Neil, Tanya and Nikhil, and granddaughter Krithi.
Joyce was a math and biology teacher at St. Theresa’s School for over a decade and had taught many young students during her tenure. She was loved and admired by both her students as well as colleagues.
