Mangaluru: A young Hitachi operator escaped unhurt after a heavy load of soil fell over here at Madanthyar on February 19.
Deepak (21) from Uttar Pradesh is the injured.
The incident took place when the mud was being removed with the help of a JCB earthmover in Madanthyar on Mangaluru-Kadoor National Highway. On Friday 19, at the time of the mishap Deepak was operating Hitachi since the driver had gone for a tea.
Suddenly, a heavy load of soil fell on the earthmover. However, the locals immediately removed the mud and rescued the driver who was trapped inside the vehicle.
He has been shifted to a local hospital.
