Mangaluru: Music icon Shankar Mahadevan has won a million hearts with his melodies, but there seems to be one place in Mangaluru that stolen away his heart.
A video of Shankar Mahadevan has been doing the rounds, where the musician is seen standing outside the iconic Narayana Hotel in the Bunder area of the city, terming the place to be ‘out of this world’.
Narayana Hotel in Mangaluru has had several celebrities visiting the place to relish the famously sumptuous meal served there. The hotel is known for its unique fish fry. An array of fish is fried and kept ready on a huge platter, which is served to the guests. However, the highlight is the fried crispy powder that is dumped on the fries, which completely bowls the guests over.
Mahadevan evidently fell head over heels for the taste of the food here. “If you are in Mangaluru, you cannot miss this one,” he says in the short video, which is also posted on his Facebook page.
“If you’re a true foodie just like me and love seafood, drop in at this place, whenever you are in Mangalore… It’s truly amazing..” his FB page reads.
Shankar Mahadevan was in Mangaluru to take part in the Alva’s Viraasat event held in Moodabidri.
