Bantwal: A verbal spat between a group of young men and a hotel owner took a precarious turn when the hotel owner stabbed a youth from the splinter group in fit of rage. The incident took place at Panemangaluru of Bantwal.
A grievously injured Naufal (25), a resident of Nehru Nagar was immediately rushed to Father Muller’s Hospital in Mangaluru while the cops have arrested Yasin (30), owner of ‘Chicken and Fish’ hotel here. Enraged youth damaged the hotel property after the incident.
Bantwal police inspector Nandakumar arrived with his team at the spot immediately and brought the tense situation under control. Case has been registered at the Bantwal police station.
