Mangaluru: Spouting predictions about his political career in bizarre statements, the controversial Huccha Venkat claimed he would be the Prime Minister of India and rule the nation from the Vidhana Soudha without going to Delhi!
Addressing a press meet in the city and continuing his attack on MLA Munirathna for distributing pressure cookers to the voters in his constituency, Huccha Venkat stated that MLA Munirathna is defaming the Congress government by distributing cookers to lure voters. “People should never entertain such politicians”, he added.
Challenging the MLA, Venkat said, “Munirathna should come before the Lokayuktha and prove that he is not corrupt. If he is proved not corrupt, I will apologise to the people”.
Speaking about the upcoming elections in Karnataka, Venkat said that the police department should stop bogus votes. “If they find any bogus voters they should be dealt in a proper way”, he said.
