Puttur: Claiming to be a victim of conspiracy, former minister and mining baron Janardhan Reddy has said that it was the conspiracy plotted against him that landed him in jail and that Goddess Mahishamardini will bring out the truth.
Reddy was in Puttur Matanthabettu Mahishamardini Temple on Thursday and addressing a programme here, he said that he has not been able to return to his home town of Bellary over the last 62 months because of the legal problems that he has been pushed into.
“Mahishamardini has given me a divine call and probably that is why I am here to take part in my first public programme in 62 months,” he said adding that he was confident of seeing good days in future.
Reddy, proprietor of Obalapuram Mining Company was arrested by the Lokayukta Special Investigation Team in connection illegal iron ore mining case involving his company in 2011.
