Mangaluru: The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast a thunderstorm, accompanied by light to moderate spells of rain and strong winds, at isolated places over all the districts of interior Karnataka till Saturday, October 26, morning 8.30 am.
According to the forecast, rains and strong winds reaching speeds of up to 30 to 40 KMPH are likely to affect interior Karnataka. Based on the forecast, the Meteorological Centre, Bengaluru has alerted the Deputy Commissioners of three districts namely Uttara Kannada, Udupi and Belagavi to take all precautionary measures to prevent untoward incidents in their respective districts.
