Mangaluru: The Installation of Office Bearers of Interact Club of Sharada Vidyaniketan P.U College was held recently in the school hall.
President Arpitha called the meeting to order and handed over the proceedings to the Master of ceremonies.
After the Invocation, President Arpithaa welcomed the gathering. The traditional lighting of the lamp by dignitaries followed, and after that Faculty in charge Manisha read out the club report for the academic year 2019-2020.
Rotary President Rtn. Archibald inducted President Abhitha Bhat into office by collaring and handing over the gavel. Youth Service Director Rtn.Vinod D’souza inducted the other Office Bearers. The newly inducted President gave her acceptance speech.
College Principal Vinayak B.G in his address called upon the students to avail themselves of this Club opportunity and be of service to the students, college and society. followed by a message by Youth Service Director Rtn. Vinod D’souza
Rtn. Archibald Menezes gave his Presidential address. He called upon the students to be active in Rotaract and Rotary projects.
Vice Principal Mahesh Prasad and staff in charge of Interact High school Reshma Bangera were also present.
After the. A formal vote of thanks was given. The programme came to an end with the singing of the National Anthem.
