Mangaluru: International Arts and Cultural Foundation Bengaluru, a benign organization for holding multidimensional Indian arts events, with the support of Ministry of culture and Department of Kannada and culture, organised ‘Sri Rama Nritya Namana’ program on Sunday, March 28 at the townhall here.
Shandilya Shrivathsa, event organiser, conceptualized this unique show as a prelude to Ramanavami that is approaching. In hail of the Rama mandir that’s being constructed, Sri Rama Nritya Namana was a signature tribute.
More than 100 performers from all over Dakshina Kannada participated in this unique show which lasted for four hours.
Editor of Vikrama, RSS weekly magazine, N. Nagaraja inaugurated the program.
Founder president Shandilya Shrivasta welcomed the gathering which was followed by 7 dance presentations from popular dance schools of Mangaluru. Four Bajan troupes also performed on the occasion.
A.B.V.P Mangaluru division secretary Basavesh participated along with vidwan Chandrashekar Navada, Dr shrividya Muralidhar, Vidushi Prathima shridhar, Vidushi Sharadamani shekar, Vidushi Soumya sudhindra Rao, Vidushi Vidyashri Radhakrishna and Vidushi Sumanagala Ratnakara.
