In its endeavour to upskill trainers with various seminars and workshops, ISTD Mangalore-Udupi Chapter will be organizing a one-day outbound training workshop “Camaraderie”, on 24 September 2023, at the St Joseph Engineering College, Vamanjoor, Mangalore. It will be guided by G Bala, an international trainer and motivational speaker. He is an International Training Fellow, at JCI University, USA.
Outbound training is a form of learning and development that takes place in an outdoor or unfamiliar environment. It is often used as a method for personal and team development, leadership training, and skill building. Outbound training typically involves a group of participants who engage in a series of activities and challenges – physical, mental and emotional – designed to foster personal learning, teamwork, communication, problem-solving, leadership, and other valuable skills. Outbound training is often used by organizations, schools, and leadership development programs to enhance the skills and qualities of individuals and teams. The experiential nature of this training makes it a powerful tool for learning, as it allows participants to apply what they learn in a real-world context and gain insights that can be transferred to various aspects of their lives and work.
The workshop is open to all professionals and will be especially useful for those involved in training and development. The organizing team of ISTD Mangalore-Udupi Chapter headed by CA MN Pai, Chairman, and comprising Brian Fernandes, Vice-Chairman, Dr Malini Hebbar, Secretary, Subhash Bangera and Peter Anthony Pinto, Managing Comittee members, has put together an exciting workshop with fun, learning, and camaraderie.
