Mangaluru: MLA J R Lobo inaugurated the newly constructed concrete road at Sirlapadpu 2nd cross in Kulshekar on Sunday, June 19.

Speaking on the occasion, Lobo said that his dream is to make his constituency as a model constituency in the State.
“By providing basic needs like road, drinking water and good drainage system to all the areas, I can create a model constituency. Sirlapadpu and some other areas are the extension of Mangaluru City Corporation. If we develop good infrastructure, then people will reside here also. The burden of city areas will reduce,” said the Mangaluru South MLA.
He further said that till now one stretch of road has been completed, and he promised to complete the second stretch in next year’s grant.
The road has been constructed at the cost of Rs 12 lakhs under MLA constituency fund for the year 2015-2016.
Local corporators Prakash, Congress leaders Denis D’silva, T K Sudhir, Ramananda Poojary, Henry D’souza, Nelson and others were present.
