Mangaluru: JD(S) leader Prajwal Revanna on Wednesday, June 23 submitted a memorandum urging companies to provide employment opportunities to the local youth of Tulu Nadu.
Speaking to reporters Revanna said, “I joined the protest to show that our party is always in the favor of Tulu Nadu’s youth. I never took part in the protest because I didn’t want the cause to become politicised. What’s the point of buying the land from us if you’re not going to employ the local youth? Companies should help the people who have given them land to prosper economically. Today companies have grown after coming up on 2,800 acres of land. But, these companies are hurting the regional sentiments of local youth by not giving employment, he added.
Prajwal Revanna also assured that he will raise this issue in parliament and make sincere efforts to provide justice to the youths of Tulu Nadu.
