Mangaluru: A picture by veteran photographer Jinesh Prasad of Moodbidri has been selected for the gold medal by the Photographic Society of America.
The competition was organised by Orient Camera Club and Jinesh Prasad’s photograph was selected under the Tourism category. Jinesh’s 19 other photographs’ also grabbed the attention of judges under different categories
It is the first international award for Jinesh Prasad this year. He has secured a total of 18 national and international awards including two awards from Bosnia, one each from South Africa and Serbia, two medals from Calcutta Creative Club and one gold medal each from EPC National Photographicand Empa International Photography competitions.
