Mangaluru: Dakshina Kannada BJP President Sanjeeva Matandoor slamming District In-charge Minister B Ramanath Rai’s “derogatory” comments against RSS leader Kalladka Prabhakar Bhat said, “Demanding CBI inquiry into the repeated violence in the district, including the incident at Kalladka, BJP will hold a protest at B C Road on June 24. BJP State President B S Yeddyurappa will be present.
Being district in-charge minister Rai should have organised a peace meeting with the political and religious leaders to restore peace and harmony in the district but he has failed in his duties.”
Defending RSS leader Dr. Kalladaka Prabhakar Bhat he said that Bhat had contributed a lot to the society in the field education, religion and social service. “Entire state knows the contribution of Bhat. Passing derogatory statements against Bhat, shows Rai’s wild attitude. He is doing so to attract Muslim votes and communal forces like SDPI and PFI.
He has no concern for this land. He is instigating action against Yethinahole activists and involved in cheap politics”, he charged.
He also alleged that Rai had demoralised the police department by holding meeting with SP, along with people having criminal backgrounds and involved in sand mafia. “Rai wants entire police department to work as the Congress agents. If Rai resigns from the position of state minister and apologises for his remarks BJP will withdraw the protest,” he said.
