Ltd. / Newskarnataka.com in the Middle East at an informal event at the Pandit Health Resort, Alangar on 24th October 2019.
After the huge success of Karnataka Today’s Read Karnataka Mission 1.0 which took off in 2018 (A mission to help Karnataka Read; help Karnaktaka Lead) with the support of corporates, businessmen and stakeholders, the Spearhead Media Group has launched Read Karnataka Mission 2.0 aiming to reach more young minds this year. The Mission’s objective is to provide the youth and students of Government Schools a free copy of Karnataka’s premier English Monthly, Karnataka Today, with the help of sponsors. The purpose: to re-inculcate the reading habit and improve their knowledge of English, the language of upward mobility in the business world today.
Speaking after the launch Mr Lal Goel said “it is a very good initiative on the part of Spearhead Media Pvt. Ltd. Knowledge of English is a must as it is a link language of the business world. A good vocabulary can help you move mountains, and the content is very good. It is generic and caters to all the segments of society. Congratulations”.
CA Valerian Dalmaida said, “this initiative is a part of NewsKarnataka.com has always strived to do. Provide society with development alternatives that are beneficial to all. Village TV and the Read Karnataka Mission are two such initiatives that I am very proud of.
