Kasaragod: The Mahatma Buds Special School at Periya-Chalingar of Kasargod, built to impart education to the children who are endosulfan victims will be inaugurated on November 4 by Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan.
The programme scheduled to be held at 11 am will be presided over by local MLA Kunhiraman. Ministers E Chandrashekharan, K K Shailaja, MP P Karunakaran among others will be present.
The building has been built under Nabard RIDF project at a cost of Rs 1.45 cr. The disable-friendly building will have state-of-art system in place which will make life more convenient for the endosulfan victims.
Though the school was started in 2011 in certain places of Kasargod, this building will bring such Buds schools under one roof.
