Kevin Misquith presents his 43rd concert for noble cause.

Mangaluru: Kevin Misquith along with his band Milestone presented his 43rd concert at Maria Ashram Church grounds Talapady.

The concert was organized by ICYM Kasargod Varado to help a fellow youth among them who is in monetary need to meet immediate medical expenses.The youth committee when approached Kevin Misquith for his help, he readily agreed to present his concert with no expectations in return, solely to raise funds for the medical expenses of a needy youth.

Fr Nelson Olivera, parish priest Maria Ashram, Zerald Rodrigues, the youth for whom the concert is being held Jackson Saldhana, Jackson Eric Dsouza, President of ICYM Lawerence Dsouza, Sandeep Monteiro and artist Kevin Misquith were present on stage during a short formal program held in between the concert.

Lawerence D’Souza president welcomed the gathering, Mr. Zerald Rodrigues was handed over an amount of Rs. 3,50,000 that were raised by the concert.

Incidentally the day coincided with the day when Kevin began his musical journey with his very first concert in the year 2007. Kevin Misquith was felicitated for completing ten years of contribution to Konkani music & doing this concert for a noble cause. Fr. Victor & Fr Nelson appreciated the efforts of the youth to help their fellow youth. Cloudia compered the formal program.

Kevin presented his popular songs like Kenna kenna, thembe thembe, Pavlle, Mhoeja Anja along with other super hits. The crowd received each of the songs with cheers & applause. The tribute session presented by Kevin was the highlight of the event which received resounding applause. Daijiworld’s Yeya hasovya winners fame “Comedy cousins” enacted the jokes. Ashwin Sequeira, Rynel Sequeira & Senet Dcunha accompanied Kevin in singing. Sheldon Crasta compered the music concert.

Mr. Zerald Rodrigues, S/o late Mr. Sebestain Rodrigues, aged 31 years hailing from Ukkinadka Kasargod, is suffering from Chronic Renal Failure. He is advice to undergo dialysis treatment twice a week. The cost of the same per month is Rs. 15,000. Renal transplant is the second option for long term survival. The approximate anticipated expenses would be costing 12,00,000/- and hereby is requesting your help for the same.
