Balanja: leopard tracks have been consistently observed in the Bollaje and Punkedottu areas of Nalluru village. Authorities have been informed, and efforts have been made to install a trap to capture the elusive leopard.
Despite ongoing efforts to capture the leopard using a cage, the animal has managed to evade capture on multiple occasions. However, there have been recent reports of leopard footprints in the Bollaje Punkedottu region of Nallur village. Approximately a month ago, several dogs went missing in the area. In response to this information, Aladangadi Deputy Range Forest Officer Suresh Gowda acted promptly by setting up a cage in the Punkedottu vicinity.
