Mangaluru: A group of like-minded citizens of Mangalore conducted a silent protest in front of the Mangalore City Corporation on 30th September 2019 from 4 to 5 pm demanding pothole-free roads.
The protest was conducted to make aware to the concerned authorities about the bad condition of roads in Mangalore. Mangalore has seen heavy rainfall and due to other circumstances, the roads have taken a bad hitting. The potholes create hindrance to many of the two-wheelers as well as four-wheel vehicles.
A signed memorandum was submitted to the Commissioner of Mangalore City Corporation giving an ultimatum. The citizens were assured that the work will be carried out as soon as possible. The group will follow up on this issue and will continue to work towards a better city.
