Puttur: A man who had gone missing three days ago was found dead on Thursday, November 3 at Konadka, Konaje of Uppinangady.
The deceased has been identified as Lakshman Mogera (32).
It is said that Lakshman’s wife had delivered a baby at Lady Goschen Hospital on November 26 and till December 1, his wife waited at the hospital for Lakshman to come and take them home. However, Lakshman went missing on December 1. All the efforts of the family to trace him failed and ultimately, they were out for a shock when they found dead body of Lakshman hanging from a tree in a forest area near his house on Thursday.
As per sources, Lakshman was depressed over some reason and his state was evident as he remained aloof.
Uppinangady police have registered a case.
