Kasargod: A 31-year-old youth survived a murderous assault on his life by a four-member gang at Seethangoli on Monday, June 25 afternoon.
The victim, Arif who hails from Mugu village sustained injuries in the attack and is currently undergoing treatment at a hospital.
Reportedly, four persons armed with weapons barged into the SBT aluminum fabrication shop, being run by Arif and stabbed him with the knife. Arif somehow managed to run from the scene and entered a mosque in the neighborhood where after the gang members fled the spot.
It is suspected that an old rivalry may be the reason behind this deadly assault.
A case has been registered with the Kumble police.
