Kasaragod: A man who was trying to fly abroad with the help of a fabricated passport was nabbed by Kasaragod police here on Friday, September 2.
The arrested has been identified as Abdul Kabeer (37) from Kasainagar in Talangere.
The incident took place in February 2013 when Kabeer attempted to fly abroad by fabricating a passport belonging to one Siddiq Asif from Trissur. Kabeer had replaced Siddiq Asif’s with his own photograph in the passport. He was arrested in Mumbai, but managed to escape. He was absconding since then.
Based on credible information that he was at his home in Kasaragod, Kabeer was finally arrested on Friday.
