Mangaluru: The 12th convocation ceremony of Nitte Deemed University will be held at the premises of K. S. Hegde Institute of Medical Education, Mangaluru on Saturday November 5 said Dr. Satish Kumar Bhandari.
He was speaking at a press conference at Ocean Pearl Hotel auditorium in Mangaluru. Vice- Chancellor N. Vinaya Hegde will preside over the function. The University Grants Commission Chairman Prof. Mamadila Jagadish Kumar will be the chief guest. A total of 994 candidates will receive degrees that includes Fellowship, Bachelor’s, Post-graduate and Doctorate degrees.
Among these, a total of 21 will receive doctoral, 321 will receive master’s, 647 bachelor’s degrees and 2 fellowships.
Nitte Deemed University Vice-Chancellor Dr. M. S. Moodithaya, Registrar Prof. Dr. Harsha Halahalli and others were present.
