Mangaluru: 7-year-old boy dies of cardiac arrest

Mangaluru: A 7-year-old boy died of cardiac arrest in Sullia taluk on Wednesday November 3.

The child, Mokshith K. C. is a Kuntikana resident, and was studying in Class 2 at the Kukkujadka Government Higher Primary School in the Village of Amaramudnooru.

Mokshith was present at the school to participate part in a Kannada Rajyotsava programme. By the time the teachers called the child’s parents to let them know, he had a slight temperature. The boy suddenly fell ill as the child’s father Chandrashekar Acharya arrived at the school. Mokshith was taken to a private hospital immediately where the doctors examined him and determined that the boy had died due to a cardiac arrest.

The deceased boy is survived by his parents and a brother.
