Mangaluru: The court granted bail to the 14 PFI activists who had been arrested by the City Police.
As many as 14 PFI leaders were held by the City Police to prevent any untoward incident in the City.
More than 80 members of the Popular Front of India (PFI) and Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI) were detained by the Karnataka Police on September 27 as a preventive measure during an early morning operation.
The these PFI and SDPI activists were arrested in several places in the State, including Mangaluru, Bagalakote, Bidar, Raichur, and Gadag, due to reports of possible disturbance to public order, claimed officials.
