Mangaluru: Supply of beer is not good in the entire state, said Govindaraj Hegde, State Secretary of the Wine Merchants Association.

He said that there is a huge demand for beer in Udupi and Mangaluru and not getting beer at the right time is a problem for the customers and licensees.

Speaking to mediapersons about this he said that there is a lot of demand for beer in Udupi and Mangaluru due to summer. 10 beers are emptied during rainy season while now 30 beers are being emptied. But the supply of beer in the entire state is not good, he noted.

The KSBCL depot have also appealed about this but to no avail. This problem has been going on for the past one month. Now what is the use of not supplying when there is demand and therefore KSBCL depot should pay attention to this, he said.
